  2. Otemon Gate

    小諸城大手門

    Built in 1612 as Komoro Castle’s main entrance, this robust two-storey gate preserves early Edo-period castle architecture. Restored toward its original form, it is a nationally designated Important Cultural Property.

    小諸本陣主屋

    This reconstructed late-Edo honjin main house returned to Komoro in 1995 and was renewed in 2023 as an Italian restaurant, continuing the post town’s tradition of hospitality.
